In brief
- What it is. JefurryInsights is the public-opinion analysis and industry intelligence platform of Jeffery Asia: one workspace for what is being said about you, what your competitors are doing and where your market is moving.
- How it is different. It is a managed, highly customised service. An account manager interviews your team before anything is set up, and analysts read everything before it reaches you.
- What you get. A daily industry brief, an email the moment something turns red, and a cycle report with the same structure every time — ending in content recommendations, not just charts.
- Where it looks. 18 public platforms, Chinese and international: RED (Xiaohongshu), Douyin, WeChat, Weibo, Bilibili and Zhihu alongside LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Google.
Two streams most teams keep apart
Most marketing and communications teams run two separate streams. A listening tool tells them what is being said about the brand. A pile of newsletters tells them what is happening in the sector. The questions that matter usually sit in the gap between the two.
Take international admissions. Jeffery Asia has written about how Chinese applicants now weigh employment outcomes over prestige (The Students You Are Recruiting From China Have Already Changed), and about RedNote changing which AI-assisted content it rewards (Rednote 2026 AI Rule Update). A listening tool shows you the comments. A newsletter shows you the policy. Neither tells an admissions team what to publish next week.
JefurryInsights puts both streams through one review. Mentions, competitor activity, search demand and industry news are read against the same objective and come back as one workspace your team opens every cycle.
How an engagement runs
- An in-depth interview. Your account manager learns the business, the brand and what the marketing actually needs to achieve this season.
- Agentic search, not a keyword list. The objective becomes a listening task. Keywords, long-tail terms, accounts, platforms and channels are updated as the picture develops, and every change is logged.
- A workspace built for you. Modules, dimensions and views are chosen around your objective. Nothing is locked to a template.
- Recommendations. What is said about you is read alongside industry insight and live trends, and turned into a content plan.
- Keep watching. Monitoring continues, recommendations are re-tested against what happens next, and every month you get a sentiment review.
The full process is on the pricing page. There is no rate card: each plan is quoted after the interview.
What lands on your desk
| Service | The question it answers | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Understand yourself | How is the outside world talking about you? | Brand sentiment, key events rebuilt as timelines, the issues your audience keeps raising, the content that was actually read |
| Understand competitors | What are your competitors doing, and who is louder? | Share of voice on one yardstick, competitor moves with their likely intent, posting rhythm, a composite ranking |
| Understand the market | What is changing, and does it touch you? | A daily industry brief from multilingual sources, search demand, policy and platform changes, what is coming next cycle |
On top of the cycle report, red alerts are emailed to the people named in your monitoring plan, and everything in the workspace can be queried by your own AI assistant through a standard connector.
The method: four steps, always in the same order
- What happened. Who said it, when, on which platform, and the original wording.
- Why it concerns you. Relevance comes from your objectives for this season, not from keyword matches — every item says why it was kept.
- What it means. Every movement is read against three baselines: your own history, your named competitors and the wider category.
- What to do. The reading becomes a content plan: which topic next, on which platform, from what angle, in what format, and when.
Every claim carries one of five labels — observed fact, system-derived, inference, client-confirmed or unverified — so you can tell a finding from a guess before you take it into a meeting.
An example: admissions season on RedNote
Here is how a cycle might read for a Singapore university's international admissions team. The example is illustrative.
- Understand yourself: RedNote posts comparing the university's graduate employment figures with two peers, with the same three questions repeated in the comments.
- Understand competitors: one peer ran a live Q&A series with alumni; its share of voice doubled for the cycle.
- Understand the market: a policy change on work passes and a rise in searches for one-year master's programmes.
- What to do: answer the three repeated questions in one post before the peer's next live session, lead with employment outcomes, and publish on RedNote first and WeChat second.
The same pattern shows up in the JefurryAxis case study on how AI assistants and RedNote reshape university shortlists (AI search, RedNote and education), whose data comes from JefurryInsights. To see a complete workspace on public sample data, open the live demo.
